Playtech May Pass on USA Gambling Market Unless Opportunities Present Themselves to be Worthwhile

Is Playtech Making the USA a Low Priority?Playtech executives provided the industry with some very interesting perceptions of the company’s plans for the future and what its present priorities are. Chief Executive Officer Mor Weizer’s remarks were leaning towards the gaming provider not being prioritized towards the USA market.

Weizer confirmed that the company is determined to expand internationally and that their expansion plans are specifically leaning towards regulated markets such as Europe. Weizer said that the regulated market for online gambling in North America is too small and that the opportunities for the company are just not there.

It looks like the only way Playtech will enter the US market is if developments are monitored, and that Playtech is given the right business prospect to establish its presence in every state that legalizes online activities.

Playtech’s future planning is solely centered with assurance that the company has the right resources lined up for its products, and it has to be the perfect time in all of the jurisdictions it operates in to find it more attractive. Weizer made it clear that this is very important for the company if they are going to secure a position with the right operators and partners for its business.
