William Hill Officially Launches into Italy
This week has seen a number of online gambling sites launch their official (licensed by AAMS) products into the Italian online gambling market. This country recently regulated a new European online gambling licensing jurisdiction. The latest brand to launch in this country is the massive William Hill, on a software platform powered by Playtech. They are only one of several licensees on this brand and are launching alongside the likes of SNAI, Sisal, Buongiorno, and Titan. This country is hoping to be a major player in the European regulated online gambling industry.
The new site is an online casino which offers a variety of real money gambling games and it is shortly to be followed by a comprehensive range of their products; these include but are not limited to bingo, sports betting and poker, while the casino offering has a wide variety of games. Italian players will currently find several types of roulette, blackjack and video poker as well as a massive range of entertaining slots.
A spokesperson from William Hill said that they had spent the last eighteen months getting the product ready from design to development and it’s a fun, fresh and secure site led by the head of Italian operations – Roby Salvadori. They are suitably proud of the end product and are hoping it is going to be a huge hit with Italian players.
The iPoker network from Playtech is also quite well entrenched in Italy and already providing cash tables, as well as opportunities to get into the massive ‘Un Million Per Tutti’ poker promotion. These fully compliant gambling products are particularly appealing for players, and this week also saw Bwin.Party move several new products into the same marketplace. PokerStars also launched their legally compliant product into Italy this week, so, it has been a busy week for the Italians and a whole host of new online gambling products.
