tribal online pokerIn breaking news story that is bound to shake up the online gaming community and the Las Vegas brand casinos, announced today Atlantis Internet Group Corp has signed a licensing agreement with Cake Gaming NV. This agreement will allow gamblers in tribal casinos across the nation [over 30 states] to gamble online at Indian online poker sites legally and immediately!

The National Indian Gaming Commission has applied for a patent for their private gaming network titled “Casino Gateway Network” which will be run on Indian Land and Cake Gaming will be supplying the software for such sites. While the 2006 UIGEA bill banned online gaming transactions in the US, which made up two thirds of the $30 billion dollar revenue, it made concessions for Indian Casinos and Intertribal Internet gaming & the states that pass an intrastate internet gaming legislation. With these exceptions now being taken advantage of there is millions of dollars not being tapped by US players that are available to a legal market in the US now.

ATIG will be the sole poker network that will operate in more than one state at a time legally and this added revenue will help Indian communities rebuild after the hard economic hits they have taken. Donald L. Bailey, the CEO of ATIG said, “Our Indian version of CGN which will be called “Tribal Gaming Network”, will offer a legal and immediate option to Indian Casinos across the US by providing the largest online poker network in the United States. This is a huge milestone for ATIG, Cake, and a big economic lift for states feeling the deficits.
